What you get: MariBank's July birthday promo pays S$15 cash for opening a standalone Mari Savings Account — no bundling, no minimum balance, no hoops. It's credited straight into the account once your application is approved.

How I did it:

1. Downloaded the MariBank app (App Store / Google Play — it's digital-only, no branches).
2. Applied for a Mari Savings Account — had to be my first-ever application for this product.
3. Entered 8ZUU96EA in the "Have a Referral / Promo Code?" field during the application.
4. Got approved within the promo window and the S$15 showed up in-app a short while after.

What nearly tripped me up:

• The code field is easy to skip past — if you leave it blank or fat-finger it, there's no way to add it retroactively after you submit.
• Your application has to be approved within the promo period, 1–31 July 2026, to count.
• ⚠️ Keep the account open and in good standing after the promo ends — MariBank can claw back the reward if you close it too soon.

Not the flashiest tier compared to the credit card path, but it's the lowest-effort one. MariBank's SGD deposits are SDIC-insured up to S$100,000, for what that's worth if you're parking real savings there.
