MariBank Referral Code 8ZUU96EA: S$8 Cash for a Savings Account (Aug 2026)

Opened a Mari Savings Account this month mostly to park some spare cash, and the S$8 referral bonus was a nice add-on for five minutes of setup.

What you get: MariBank's August promo pays S$8 cash for a standalone Mari Savings Account — no bundling, no minimum balance required.

How I did it:

1. Downloaded the MariBank app (App Store / Google Play — digital-only, no branches).
2. Applied for a Mari Savings Account — had to be my first-ever application for this product.
3. Entered 8ZUU96EA in the "Have a Referral / Promo Code?" field during the application.
4. Got approved within the promo window, and the S$8 showed up in-app shortly after.

What nearly tripped me up:

• The code field is easy to skip — leave it blank or fat-finger it and there's no way to add it after submission.
• Approval has to happen within the promo period, 1–31 August 2026, to count.
• ⚠️ Keep the account open and in good standing after the promo ends, or the reward can be clawed back.

Not the biggest tier compared to the credit card path, but it's the lowest-effort one, and Mari Savings Account also currently pays up to 2.88% p.a. daily interest (Shopee VIP bonus) on top. SGD deposits are SDIC-insured up to S$100,000.
