Is MariBank's S$20 + S$80 Referral (Code 8ZUU96EA) Worth It?

I almost skipped the Credit Card Bundle path because S$20 sounded modest — turns out the real number is closer to S$100 once you factor in what unlocks after.

The math: signing up for the Mari Credit Card Bundle with code 8ZUU96EA gets you S$20 cash for the referral itself, plus up to S$80 in separate new-user card rewards — a S$30 welcome cashback (10% cashback) if you spend a minimum of S$300 within 30 days of card approval (Instant Checkout on Shopee doesn't count toward this), and a S$50 Shopee voucher pack if you do use Mari Credit Card Instant Checkout on Shopee. Add it up and you're looking at up to S$100 for one sign-up, assuming you hit both conditions.

How to get it:

  1. Download the MariBank app.
  2. Apply for the Mari Credit Card Bundle specifically — the bundled application, not the card alone.
  3. Enter 8ZUU96EA in the Referral/Promo Code field before submitting.
  4. Get approved within 1–31 July 2026 for the S$20 cash; the card welcome cashback has its own runway (new cardholders approved by 31 December 2026 qualify, credited within 100 days of card approval).

Where the math falls apart if you're not careful:

  • Miss the S$300 minimum spend within 30 days and you only get the S$20 referral cash, not the S$30 cashback.
  • Applying for the savings account and credit card as two separate applications instead of the bundle forfeits the bundle reward entirely.
  • The code field can't be fixed after you submit — check it before tapping through.

Caveat: this bundle includes a credit card, so treat any welcome cashback as conditional on spend, not guaranteed money — and remember credit card debt isn't insured the way your savings deposits are.

Ran these numbers off DLCuration's MariBank guide, which has the full FAQ on the S$80 card rewards breakdown: https://dlcuration.com/maribank-referral-code.html

Not financial advice, just sharing what worked for me.
