How Much Do You Really Need for Financial Independence in Singapore?

Recently came across this video. The guy breaks down what financial independence could look like depending on lifestyle, age, and spending habits.

It got me thinking – is it actually realistic to aim for FI in Singapore? With our cost of living, I wonder how many people are seriously working towards it, and how they’re doing it (investments, side gigs, cutting costs etc).

Anyone here already working towards FI or even hit it? What’s your strategy – and what number are you aiming for?
