I think you are only scratching the surface of the issue. Amazon and other firms have problems, but it is how they handle them that makes them stand out in the market.

Clearly you dont understand their Balance sheets.. It could mean that they use their profit and reinvest in their business right? Any signs that their revenues are slowing? Amazon is not a young firm and this means it withstood the test of time and market crashes alogn the way. YET it still become a 1.6T USD company so clearly you need to do some more homework and ask yourself why like that?
