How do you all cope with/manage incompetent and unreasonable people at work (share wise and practical ways leh)? (For students, how do you cope with/manage free-riders on school projects?)
As above - share wise and practical (tried and tested + worked).
I cope by accepting that I can’t change everyone, and trying to do so is just tiring. I focus on my work, keep expectations clear (usually in writing), and don’t react to every nonsense comment.
I try not to take things personally, find one sane coworker to sanity-check with, and leave work problems at work. If it gets consistently toxic, I start planning an exit, some environments just won’t change
