Need to see if u are single or have family members that you want to leave money behind. can go to CPF board and request for the 2 scenarios (Basic and Standard), see the difference and you can decide.

It depends if you want steady but low payouts (standard), or want to start lowest and get 2% more payouts each year (escalating), or want to leave more legacy but lower payouts (basic).

This will depend on your situation - whether you have dependents, want to leave a legacy to anyone / any charity, your family genes / age which you think you will live up to (dying at 75, 85 or 95 - you may be suitable for different plans since different plans have different "break-even" ages / points) etc ...
