Could you share any tips or guide for preparing for the CFA exams?

Hi! Has anyone taken or is going to take CFA exams? Did you attend class or did you opt for self-study? Could you share any tips or guide for preparing for the exams? Thank you!?

I’m currently preparing for the CFA exams through self-study, and one thing I’ve learned is that consistency matters more than long study sessions. Creating a realistic schedule, practicing mock exams regularly, and focusing on weak areas can make a huge difference.

I also found that using simple online tools for quick calculations and problem-solving, such as https://ti84calcultor.com/, helps save time during study sessions. The CFA journey can feel overwhelming at times, but staying disciplined and taking small steps every day really builds confidence and keeps the motivation alive.

What CFA level are you taking ? You know the steps are different for different levels. I am taking level 3 this year so not expert on level 3 tips and trick.

I always self-study my level 2 and level 1. And i conclude, the one who passed it is not a smart person, but disciplined person. CFA requires consistency, not much about intensity, just like going to the gym. You can’t cram for 9-10 hours in Saturday and Sunday only, but clock in 0 hours in workdays.

For me, level 1 is just easy (it just filters out who is serious about taking CFA). Level 2 is the real deal, which separates the one who really understand valuation and statistical rigor.
