As a 23-year-old graduating this year with $500k cash, should I invest in private properties or buy an HDB? What should I be investing in if it is not properties?

Chief Investment Officer at Self Employed

Put $200k in Government Savings Bonds and the remainder in short-term Government T-Bills. Wait patiently for the global market to crash, and then when you see blood on the streets, start accumulating valuable assets like bitcoin.

The massive crash is coming yet very few people actually knows this.

Background: 54 years old, still working, slightly over 1mil in combined savings. Owns HDB 4 room, looking to buy 2nd property for investment (or own stay in the future)?

If you own a private property when you are 22 yrs old. Can you still buy BTO fm HDB n sell off yr private property?

At a young age (e.g 23 years old) with Low income (<$4000), is it advisable to venture commercial and industrial property investment instead, and use the profits to fund residential property?
